CaMLA announces modification to Part 3 of MELAB listening test
After considerable feedback and research, CaMLA is pleased to announce a change to Part 3 of the MELAB listening section.
Beginning in July 2012, Part 3 of the MELAB listening test will include the printed questions in the test booklet, along with the printed answer choices. Until now, only the answer choices have appeared in print, with the questions provided aurally. Now test takers will be able to both read and hear the questions in Part 3.
Part 3 of the MELAB listening test consists of three recorded interviews, such as those that might be heard on the radio, each followed by recorded comprehension questions. The total number of Part 3 listening items to be answered will not change. Examples of this change can be found in the just-released MELAB 2012 Sample Test.
